Download Affinity Publisher Network Failure

Recommended Posts

Hello. I'm trying to download the free demo of Affinity Publisher on a MacBook Pro running OS X 10.14, but after a couple of seconds the download stops with a network error message. I've tried downloading during different times of the day and on different days, yet I keep having a network error. I'm very interested in this product and wish to test it out before I purchase it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi @John D.,

Welcome to the forums :)

Sorry to hear you're having trouble! Can you please confirm for me, do you have any of the following installed:

  • Anti-virus software?
  • a VPN?
  • an ad blocker?
  • a download/network manager?

If so, we recommend closing/pausing any of these running services to make sure they are not interfering with the download.

Secondly, I recommend trying to download the application from a different web browser, for example if you are using Safari, try using Google Chrome or Firefox to download the app from the below link -

https://store.serif.com/update/macos/publisher/1/

I hope this helps!
