polystirenman
Hi All I've noticed a bug in AD which causes Stroke Alignment not working. If you have a more complex shape, no matter if you choose to have stroke outside or inside of a path, it always stays in centre. Anyone else having this issue? Staff Sean P Posted January 8, 2021 Staff Share Posted January 8, 2021 Hi @polystirenman Without seeing the file I cannot say for sure, however please be aware that stroke alignment can only be set on closed shapes. If you have an open curve it will always be aligned to centre, no matter what is set in the Strokes Panel - this is by design. If your shape is closed and you still cannot do it then please attach a copy of the file with an offending shape. Also when reporting bugs please try to create more descriptive titles such as 'Cannot set stroke alignment for certain shapes'.

I will have a look if all of my shapes are closed. One thing i've noticed though was, as i was changing settings of alignment, i could see it changing in layers thumbnail but not on document screen. Staff Sean P Posted January 8, 2021 Staff Share Posted January 8, 2021 It could well be a redraw issue then! Feel free to attach a document and I'll take a look
