Symon Posted January 7, 2021 Posted January 7, 2021 I have recently had to wipe my Mac desktop computer and reinstall a fresh operating system. However I am unable to reload Affinity because in my account section there is no record of me purchasing it as far as I can see. In other words no serial number. Now I was an early adopter and maybe my record has gone astray, but you can see I have purchased a manual and taken advantage of the macros on offer. Please can you help as I don't want to purchase another copy. I can confirm the above email address is the correct one Kind regards Symon Dungey Quote
Staff SFurniss Posted January 7, 2021 Staff Posted January 7, 2021 @Symon It looks like you ordered from the Apple Store. If you sign into your Apple Store account with the same email address you used to place the order you will be able to download again from there. If you are not seeing the product in your history can I suggest contacting Apple for assistance. Quote
Symon Posted January 12, 2021 Author Posted January 12, 2021 I don't believe I downloaded Affinity through the ap store, but purchased and downloaded it direct from yourselves as there was a special offer. The only clue I can give you is it was near your launch date. I also have a working copy on my laptop but can NOT see the serial number in order to copy across. What you may see from the Apple store is a recent trial version downloaded Quote

wonderings Posted January 12, 2021 Posted January 12, 2021 Registration keys and things like this do not generally just go missing from a computer. If something did happen on Serifs end there would be a lot more people asking about this, not just one. Did you check the Apple App store? People think they remember one thing and are left smacking their forehead when they find out it was completely opposite what they thought they remembered. It takes a few minutes to load up the App store and look at your past purchases. If you purchased direct from Serif you would have an email from them as well regarding the purchase. Quote
