Hi,

Is there anyway I can insert an animated photo (GIF) in a JPG file so that when I save and open it next time, only the inserted GIF photo should play as it is?

I know it sounds little awkward, but I wanted to try this combination in one of my creative creations.

Many thanks in advance. Cheers !

Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @Cool Clix. :)

The JPEG format is a ‘flat’ image format: it doesn’t support frames or layers. That aside, there are no animation features in any of the Affinity apps.

... which should answer your question, also for probably renamed GIF files as JPG files via the file extension disguise etc.
