uli123
I have a heading which flows over two frames with a line break In my TOC I get two entries: 1. Just the last word ("Anfang"), but the correct pagenumber 4 2. The correct text line "Alles auf Anfang", but the wrong page number 5 How can I handle this? walt.farrell
Have you tried putting the text frame on page 4 rather than on page 5? Ray S.
Hi uli123, it looks to me that the "Alles auf"-Textbox is on the page nr 5. Maybe it would help to put it on the page 4. Yeah, Walt has been faster.
uli123
No, I would like to spread it over two pages.
Ray S.
Ok, weil ich auf deutsch scneller als Walt bin. Nicht den Text verschieben nur die Textbox und diese dann rechtsbündig machen.
uli123
Looks for me like a bug. The program has to look just for the first letter of a heading to get the page number, not for the whole paragraph. To be flexible I think I may use invisible heading paragraphs and work with artistic text for the layout. Is this a good idea?
Old Bruce
Take the text frame and have most of it on the Left page, override the line so it is Right aligned and set the end where you want it. Ray S.
No this is no bug, I think. The Software looks for the center of the textbox to decide on what page it is. You should give Old Bruces tipp a try.
uli123
Bug or not bug ... however, I just did it with an invisible heading 1 paragraph and a copy of that text in separate text frames. Its a workaround but gives me the flexibility I need. Thanks a lot to all of you for the suggestions and help!
