louis speight
Hi I'm working on a new educational resource and I've created a template that I now would like to share with others to fill with text... What is the best way to do this?
v_kyr
Hi and welcome, well actually exporting with APublisher is limited to a few file formats and not that much to exchangable/editable text formats at all (beside it's own .apub files), see for example ... Supported file formats Publishing PDF files Export as Graphics Share ... so probably the best way would be if the collaborateurs would too have a running copy of APublisher, or you would have to exchange text with other people in some other file format (like word processor file formats, RTF, plain UTF-8 text etc.), which then in turn you would have then to merge and include into APublisher. louis speight 1 Quote ☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan ☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.

If every collaborator is working on his own copy, it ends in a copy'n'paste orgy. Something similar like InCopy would be nice. Yes with binary APublisher files this is difficult to handle, probably even with a better binary file capable version control system, which offers file in usage lock/diff/merge capabilities. Thus dealing with independent plain UTF-8 text exchanges for APub collaboration in this case (as always as a workaround) would be overall better to handle.
