Hello Everyone,

For some reason, it seams that tabs won't apply trailing underscores (or any other character for that matter) when tabs are applied from right to left.

Here is a screenshot explaining the problem (sorry my version is in French but I’m sure you can understand the few fields)…

…but maybe it is just an issue with me using the tools.

Thanks in advance for your help. Yours,

Hi naq2,
Welcome to the Affinity forums!

Your tab position seems to be 0 in the tab's panel options, and/or your panel doesn't look like "tabs are applied from right to left."

– How about this?

by the way: @Gabe, I see the blue highlight for the left-align-icon in my screenshot as being confusing (buggy).

Thanks Thomaso for your suggestion.

That’s indeed what I would have been doing if I would not be using a text wrapping on the right.

As you can see on the screenshot I submitted, there is some diagonal text wrapping applied on the right side of the paragraph (the intended effect) which prevent the use of your suggested solution (in that case, the numbers then immediately goes to the next line).

What I tried to do then was to revert everything: • paragraph is right to left; • tabs are at 0 aligned on the left. This effectively works except for the trailing character which is not applied. This seams like a bug to me but I would have liked to get a confirmation from the community or someone from serif.

Thanks again.

Sorry for the delayed reply. I can't seem to replicate this. If you still can in the latest beta, please create a new post and we can have a look :)
