andyandy3
I'm using Affinity Photo on my new iPad, and I notice a lot of seemingly new options for opening documents. What is the difference between choosing "Open from iCloud" vs "Import from iCloud"? They seem to be the exact same thing...?
DM1
If you choose Open from Cloud, edits made will be saved back to the cloud file version. If you choose Open from Cloud you will create a 'copy' of the original file. Edits will not be saved back to the original file, only kept in sandbox. You will need to manually save this 'copy' in order to create a file that has edits saved to it. My preference is Open from Cloud as I prefer not to have many copies of the same file with different edit save points. 🙂 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen).
