CR3 files load with pink border and colorton

Hi, I have purchased a new camera with CR3 files. When these load up to my computer they register as Affinity Photo files. On screen they have a pinkish border and ton.. please advise what to do.I have also recently upgraded to the latest version of AP.

this highly depends on the Canon cam model you newly purchased, thus if it is an actually supported model by the Affinity used libraw library or not. - To see if your Canon cam is actually supported by Affinity's RAW engine you can take a look here.

In case you are on a Mac system there is also the ability to use the Apple RAW engine insted (switching RAW engines) so you have to look then what Canon cams the related Apple OS supports natively, see here:

• on macOS Big Sur and iOS 14
• on macOS Catalina and iOS 13
• on macOS Mojave and iOS 12
• on macOS High Sierra and iOS 11
• on macOS Sierra and iOS 10
• on OS X El Capitan
• on OS X Yosemite
• on OS X Mavericks

BTW, your attached image is that small that I can't really see anything specifically on that one, next time add a bigger image, so it can be seen what happens on screen with that!
