af1 Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 hello. I'm trying to find a graphic design software. I came across infinity. I export a picture to jpeg then uploaded it to google drive so i can see it on my phone. I then try to send the jpeg from google drive to instagram and I get an error message saying something is wrong. Any idea how to fix this ? Below is the photo i wanted to upload to instagram Quote
GarryP Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 Welcome to the forums @af1 That looks like a normal JPG to me so the problem may be with the process of transferring the file from Google Drive to Instagram, rather than with the Affinity applications. Instead of going from your computer to Google Drive and then to Instagram, try transferring the image directly from your computer to Instagram and see if that works. If it does work then it’s probably not a fault with your Affinity application. If it doesn’t work then you will need to give us more specific information about your process and what is happening. Saying “error message saying something is wrong” is too vague for us to diagnose the problem. (I don’t use Instagram myself so I can’t do any testing.) Quote
NotMyFault Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 Unfortunately, Instagram does not allow to upload from any desktop OS, only SmartPhones can upload. There are special Apps like "Windowed" (for Windows 10) which allow to circumvent this restriction. @af1: I would suggest to download the pic from Google into the photo library locally on the smart phone first. And then upload from you local photo library. I had some issue trying to (directly) access cloud storage for document upload, too. Do you use iOS, Android or something else?
