Blend Options vs Blend if - Feather Mask - Marching ants

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I wish all of the Affinity Team a happy new year and successful 2021!

Please consider to take care of this suggestions:

  • Add  am indicator if "Bend Options" are used on a specific layer or not
  • Add the possibility to feather/blur masks non destructively
  • Let us hide the marching ants of a selection without unselecting the selection

Thanks for any reply 😘

1 welcomed but you could add it in the name field yourself
2 use an (vector) ellipse/shape as mask not a raster mask
3Menu>View>Show Pixel Selection, no default shortcut but you can set it in the preferences

@haakoo, the trick with the shape works only, as long as you don't need an inverted mask, doesn't it?

I’m not @haakoo (obviously!) but you can easily create the shape you need for an inverted vector mask by drawing a rectangle the same size as the canvas and then subtracting the other shape from it.
