lepr Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 One solution is to mask the Pixel object with a duplicate of the stroked shape and stack that above the original stroked shape. Optionally use the Symbol functionality so that the mask is automatically kept in synch with any editing of the stroked shape. (If the stroked shape doesn't need to be blended with the Pixel object then don't duplicate it - simply use it as a mask on the Pixel object.) Quote
Teenage Boy Tyler Posted January 3, 2021 Author Posted January 3, 2021 Ahh, ok! Thanks alot! 🙂 I really struggle with masking in Affinity Designer. I used to mask in Photoshop. Maybe you can help me. 1) In Photoshop I used "cmd + I" to invert a mask - seems that doesn't work in Affinity Designer, but in Affinity Photo it works. 2) In Photoshop I used to make a selection then masked it, or better: I selected the Alpha Channels and directly created a mask from there. How did you put that Shape+Stroke inside a Mask?? (I mean your symbol Layer inside the Pixel Layer) O.o. 3) Is it possible to show your "mask"-layer on the Ipad Version of Affinity Designer? I mean "alt-clicking" the mask. Thanks a lot!!!🤗 Quote
