firstdefence
The brushes panel is very basic in Affinity Photo with scant no, capabilities for organisation. Once the brushes are imported you cannot move them to another category - which in reality is a brush set, nor can you rearrange the categories nor sort them by name or size. You can move the individual brushes by dragging them up or down within the category but that's it. I think the word category is misleading because you cannot have several brush sub-sets within a category called watercolour brushes, a category only stores individual brushes not sub-sets of brushes. Brushes can be moved or copied to any other category. Or did you mean something else? Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. firstdefence
I meant en masse, not individually, it would get very tedious very quickly moving brushes one by one, I honestly cannot see the logic nor the reason for such a limited panel, and to only include a method for moving a single brush is baffling. I think it's possibly because there is no hierarchy so the only option you have is to move a brush from a category to a category, even then it seems a waste of time to do that. firstdefence
To me a category is a group of brush subsets not a group of individual brushes Watercolour Brushes <-- category Wet brushes <-- subset wet brush 1 <-- brush wet brush 2 Dry brushes <-- subset dry brush 1 <-- brush dry brush 2 Quote iMac 27" 2019 Somona 14.3.1, iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more...
