AntiqueFlaneur
I've got an image that looks great at 1381 x 1963. But I need to shrink it to apox 60 pixels x 85 pixels. I hold shift to maintain the aspect ratio and drag to resize it downward, but the image becomes blurry. Is there anything I can do the prevent this? John Rostron
Have you tried Document > Document Resize? In the dialogue box, enter your target width (60) and ensure that the Resample box is ticked. Try one of the Lanczos scaling algorithms. Because you are downsizing approximately 20-fold don't expect miracles! Lanczos is great for upscaling, but for downscaling you’ll probably get better results with bicubic (or perhaps even bilinear for such a large scale factor).
