Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @Kave Rosenwasser.

Yes, you can transfer the license, but it depends on two things:

  1. Which OS the old and new computer will run.
  2. Where you purchase the application.

For 1: They must both be Mac, or they must both be Windows. If one is Mac and the other Windows you will need to buy another license.

For 2:

  • If you purchase directly from Serif at https://affinity.store then you simply login to your account at https://affinity.store/account/downloads and download the application to your new computer. You will also find the product key and email address there that you need to validate the installation when you first run the application.

  • If you purchase from the Mac App Store or the Microsoft Windows Store, then you login to that store on your new machine using the same login ID as you used for the purchase, and tell the store to install it.
