I'm not sure that's enough detail for us to understand what you tried to do.

Can you describe the workflow steps in detail, and the problem that occurred? Or perhaps also include a video of the issue?

I failed to import .pdf files instead of images

To me it works with a test data file containing paths, either of pdf only or of mixed jpg, pdf, png.
• The pdfs can be single or multi paged.
• Their frame properties can get set before merge, various page orientations, e.g. in case of "Scale to Min Fit", get respected accordingly both before and after merge.

• In the merged result all PDF are placed with their 1st page, regardless of a custom page selection before merging. After merge their displayed page may get selected individually via the usual context bar menu.

Instead of typing it appears comfortable + simple to copy/paste the path: Hold Control + Option to add the entire path option to a file's context menu:

Does not work on 10.12.6 Sierra!

I use Control and then once the context menu is open I change to the Option key to get the Copy.... item to change to the Copy path item. If I hold Control + Option nothing happens when I click on an icon in the finder.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.0 | Affinity Photo 2.4.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Works with  Macbook Air 2020 Big Sur, not with iMac late 2009 Sierra !

After relaunch Finder, works !
