Publisher Pragraph formatting problems

Dear Support Team,

I have a paragraph formatting problem that I cannot solve. Maybe I am missing something? See Screen-recording attached.

The file was created by importing an IDML file.

Publisher 1.8.6 MAC on Big SUR 11.1

How did you create those two text frames, @wwolf?

They are behaving as though, at some point, you have resized and rescaled one or both of them. That would happen if you changed the size of a text frame using the lower-right handle that is detached from the bounding box:

I just used the Textframe tool. Dragged them and adjusted them to size, but not using this extra dot.

Thank you, I will play around, maybe there is an option to reset them?

You're welcome.

And no, there is no way to reset that. I think you have to delete and recreate those text frames. (I would save a copy of the document first in case you make it even worse while trying to fix it.)

Another question: where did the text come from. A similar issue was reported that is related to importing IDML files.

Oh damn... The text was imported from an IDML file. I wish I could export only text and reimport it into a new document.

The editing is a nighmare because changes might stick and suddenly like in the video something somewhere else changes. Also selecting text does not work over more pages. 

Then it seems  to be the imported file. Does it help you if I send that file to you?

Serif might be interested in it, but we'll have to wait until they catch up with this topic before we'll know.
