how to move affinity to a new laptop

Recommended Posts

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @Boticue.

You would only have product keys if you purchased directly from Serif (rather than the Mac App Store), and in that case you can recover them by logging in to https://affinity.store/account/downloads where you will find both the product key and the email that you need to use when you first run the application.

If, however, you purchased from the Mac App Store, you just login to that store on your new Mac, using the same Apple ID as you used on your old Mac, and reinstall from the Mac App Store.

Assuming this is the same if this was purchased through the Microsoft store also?

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

Yes, you simply login to the Microsoft Store on the new computer, using the same Windows ID, and you'll be able to install it.
