ladylike4 Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 I see that the topic has been discussed before, but I can't find any actionable steps towards correcting or a date when a correction is expected. This studio software works if I restart my computer and don't use Affinity. After I've used Affinity or within Affinity... it all crashes. Quote
firstdefence Posted December 29, 2020 Posted December 29, 2020 I doubt there is much if anything Affinity can do about this, they have no control over how unsupported third-party software will behave in the affinity environment, I'd say this is on autofx. I'd ask Autofx why it does this? jmwellborn 1 Quote iMac 27" 2019 Sequoia 15.0 (24A335), iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more... v_kyr Posted December 29, 2020 Posted December 29, 2020 Obviously from the screenshot shown, an assertion failure is thrown, meaning at some state probably a past over buffer is NULL here, where it hasn't to be (thus an assertion is thrown - aka in fwrite.c at line 76). - Looks like that Plugin isn't compatible in the way data is exchanged with APh through the PS API.
