Selection with black arrow

Hi! is there any way to select objects with black arrow when I don’t want to grab the second object completely, just a bit?

for example I have circle and and a really big square. I select a circle and then I need to select this big square with a frame selection. And I want to grab just a little part of this square but to have the whole square selected.

In Preferences > Tools, tick “Select object when intersects selection marquee”.
