OdieZ Posted December 28, 2020 Author Posted December 28, 2020 Thank you for reply I am using affinity designer, and it is a jpg file that i want the whole gold thing to be used on it own Quote
v_kyr Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 Open/load that bitmap image into Designer, then change into the Pixel Persona. There you have then several selection tool possibilities, like the circilar selection, the selection brush or the freehand selection tool. - In order to select the whole golden ring stuff, use the round circle selection, select around the gold stuff and do a copy of the selection (Edit > Copy, or Cmd-C/Ctrl-C), then you can paste the grabbed copy into another new empty file for reusage, or to it's own layer inside the same golden stuff file. v_kyr Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 Since it's a bitmap/raster image file, we use the Pixel Persona here in Designer ... screencast_goldring.mp4 Quote ☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan ☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2
