No big difference between bevel and mitre join

Mitre misses several joins, it seems...

Bevel on the left, mitre on the right.

The mitre limit is the point beyond which the line will be bevelled instead of mitred. Please see the following post for a fuller, and beautifully illustrated, explanation:
