Phil Edge Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 Having previously used Serif PagePlus X8 for designing and printing business cards, when printing the PPX8 set up print run of 9 cards on an A4 size card automatically prior to print preview and printing. I am in the process of moving over to Affinity Publisher and whilst I can 'design' the card, I cannot find how to set up to print in a similar way to the Serif PPX8 system. The AP appears to only allow one business card, even on an A4 size document. Please advise, thank you. Quote
walt.farrell Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. In the Print dialog, you may want to investigate the Layout option for N-Up. Phil Edge Posted December 26, 2020 Author Posted December 26, 2020 Thank you for your welcome and prompt reply, much appreciated. I had tried the N-Up feature, but hadn't ticked the 'fill end page' box. Now works, with the addition of a few margin adjustments. I can now commence moving my Serif PPX* documents over to AF. Thanks again for your assistance. Regards, Phil Quote
walt.farrell Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 You're welcome. By the way, some have suggested an alternative approach that may work in the 1.9 beta (and in 1.9 when it arrives) of using the new Data Merge function. I have not tried that yet, but hope to soon.
