hi

i'm not sure why i get these marked lines (see image) between shapes.

i don't have a stroke but still seeing it.

i also want to ask if there is a way to sketch with a pencil without creating a new layer for each stroke of pencil.

my third questions is about the ui. there isn't much contrast in different panels as shown in the second image (like i can't see shadows of layers previews easily). is there a way to fix that too so that the curves previews will be easier to be seen?2144862781_Screenshot2020-12-23234253.png.2a4693b8cf06b2d30a200e5d4a608753.png

thanks

  1. Check in the transform panel if both shapes are really seamless placed beneath each other (x and width pixelpositions). If not, then select one shape and use the arrow left or right keys to position it seemless (zoom in/out to see things better). Further check if the line disappears when you overlap the shapes slightly.
  2. For vector tools every sketch usually creates a new layer. If you create a new empty layer (see the layers panel buttons bottom bar) first and select that one, all other sketches will be created as sublayers of that layer. Or use a montage etc.
  3. I don't think you can tweak that UI portion with gamma settings or the like, you can switch between dark and light UI mode, but I doubt that will change much for contrasts here.

thanks you very much!

1. when zooming in the lines disappear. it like a bug or something. does using preferences>performance settings can fix this? i'm using the latest windows 10.

2. why isn't there a way to allow a one layer with a sketch? i'm just wondering. i've heard that in illustrator it is different.

3. i will make a try to see how it is with light ui.

  1. You have to check how things behave and look afterwards when exporting, let's say when exporting to a bitmap PNG (check in a bitmap previewer) and a vector SVG (check in a webbrowser).
  2. You can do that when using the Pen tool ...
