DavePipitone Posted December 25, 2020 Posted December 25, 2020 Hello, I am a very new user to Affinity Publisher. I love this software and have a lot to learn. I would like your help, please. I am trying to create an indented numbered list, where the wrapped lines of text align with with the first indented line. I don't know how to do this in the software program. Here is what I have now. (see attachement.) How do I get the second or third wrapped line to align with the tab stop on the first line, and not go to the left margin of the text box? Thanks for your help! Dave Pipitone Quote
Wosven Posted December 25, 2020 Posted December 25, 2020 Hi @DavePipitone Your first line doesn't have any tabs, that's why nothing is aligned. The second one use them, it's good, since your text after the tabs begin at the same distance. Now, you need to modify your paragraphs settings (same left indent for them and the tabs value, and same negative value for their first line). Quote
DavePipitone Posted December 25, 2020 Author Posted December 25, 2020 Thank you Wosven. Upon further investigation, I learned that I did not set the text as a Number Style, using the Text Styles window, which automatically creates the formatting I wanted. Once I did that, the formatting was resolved. I appreciate your response. Wosven 1 Quote
