Dodgyb2001
At the moment there's no direct way to scale a picture by a percentage. You can use multipliers in the numeric fields, but that's no good for macros where I want to scale a bunch of different sized pictures by 50%. Could we have this please? John Rostron
I use percentages in numeric fields regularly without problems. Unfortunately thy will not work in macros. The macro converts the percentage into a pixel value and saves that. To get round this you need to use equations (Filter > Distort > Equations) which does work OK in macros. John Rostron
If you just have alot of images to rescale, then you might be better off by using a Batch Job. This allows you to apply a percentage scale to either width or height. Keep the Preserve Aspect Ratio box flagged John Quote Windows 10, Affinity Photo 1.10.5 Designer 1.10.5 and Publisher 1.10.5 (mainly Photo), now ex-Adobe CC CPU: AMD A6-3670.
