Designer123 Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 I work on multiple artboards and jumped for joy with the expansion of the Select Same tool. Currently if you have multiple art boards in a file the Select Same tool will pick all objects across the artboards - even if the objects in the artboards are not visible and the artboard is locked. To turn the individual objects off would require too much object management. Easier to do at a higher level. lepr and CLC 1 1
Staff Sean P Posted January 5, 2021 Staff Posted January 5, 2021 Hi Designer123, This is an improvement (well slightly different) I suggested a while back. We use the Edit All Layers button on the Layers Panel to restrict selection to the currently selected Artboard when that button is disabled, so I suggested the Select Same behaviour should adhere to that. This would mean that you could select your unlocked artboards and use Select Same and it would only select objects on those artboards. I'll get your comments passed on over. Thanks lepr 1

Thanks This sounds workable albeit somewhat hidden at the bottom of the layers panel. http://www.kevincreative.com https://www.behance.net/kevincreative https://dribbble.com/kevincreative https://www.instagram.com/kevincreative/
