Hewal
Hello, as you can see in the picture, the outer line is not a contour, but a surface. But I would like to color the inner area of the ribbon. So far I have traced the edges with the drawing pen tool, but this is tedious. Is there a simple trick or an easier solution? v_kyr
The easiest way for more complex shapes (when available as a bitmap) is to perform a bitmap-to vector tool based centerline vectorization/tracing, then saving the vector trace result as SVG/PDF and import that then in Affinity for reuse.
lepr
Select the Curves object then do Layer > Geometry > Separate Curves. That will give you several shapes, the lowest being a silhouette of the entire original object and the others being interior shapes. Fill the silhouette shape with the edges colour, and fill the interior shapes with the ribbon colour. Move Along People
craned
I am having a bit of the same problem. I would like to create a mask of the fish, and only have the flag show through the internal of the fish. The entire thing seems to be transparent. Thoughts? Ray S.
@craned make a copy of the fishs outline and use it as a clipping-path for the "flag"-fill.
