Dave R Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 Because of a faulty cooling fan in my computer, I've had to transfer Affinity Photo to a newer machine. If I simply install the current version will I be good to go, or will I need some fancy "key" to proceed to use it? Please and thanks Dave Quote

What OS do the old and new computers run, how did you perform the transfer, and where did you purchase Affinity Photo? Windows on both, using Windows 10 on each. AP was purchased directly from Affinity some time ago. I simply copied the installation file (current version 1.8.5) that I used to update my existing program on the old machine, to the new machine, but haven't tried installing yet. Thanks! Quote
walt.farrell Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 In that case, yes, you'll need to know the product key and email address associated with the purchased application. You can find them at https://affinity.store/account/downloads after you sign-in.
