Hi there,

I have been attempting to use vector brush strokes in multiply layers as per the below tutorial.

It works fine on desktop. However I can't recreate this effect on iPad. When I have an SVG layer set to multiply that contains multiple shapes created with my vector brush (all with a normal blend mode) they still seem to multiply when they overlap each other. So I can't use a vector brush to colour in a shape using multiple strokes on one layer and have the colour remain uniform as if it's one shape. I only want the multiply to then be applied to the layer underneath. Needing to combine the strokes after drawing them breaks the flow of working this way as you can't see what it will look like whilst drawing.

Am I missing something that needs to be done differently on iPad or is this a bug?

cheers,
nay.

Hi @naychrist,

As far as I'm aware, the method should be the same on iPad than it is on desktop for this style - so it would help to have a copy of your document so I can better understand the issue you're seeing.

Can you please upload a copy of your .afdesign file to the below link for me:

Once uploaded, please reply here to let me know - many thanks in advance :)

Thanks @Dan C, I think I should have slept on it and taken another look with fresh eyes before posting.

I have just tried to recreate the issue and seems to be working on both platforms now. I think I may have chosen colours too saturated for the effect and then come up with some strange results when experimenting with settings.

Thanks for the offer to help!
