cgidesign Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Hi, I am on A.Photo, Windows 10, Huion Kamvas Pro 20. The Kamvas graphics display has hardware touch areas. Those are used as zoom in A.Photo. They send CTRL+ and CTRL- to the software. Question: The zoom steps triggered by CTRL+ / - are to big. Is there a way to reduce those steps in Affinity Photo somehow? By default the steps are 25%. I would prefer 5% to get a smoother zoom when using the sliders. Quote
Dan C Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Hi @anim, I can confirm that the CTRL +/- zoom function is based on the % of zoom you're currently viewing. For example, at 75% one press of 'CTRLÂ +' will take you to 100% zoom. However at 300% zoom, one press of CTRL + will take you to 400% zoom. Equally, at 10% zoom, one press of CTRL + will take you to 15% zoom. Unfortunately this automatic system cannot be changed currently, Affinity will always decide the amount to zoom based on the current documents view - my apologies! Quote
cgidesign Posted December 22, 2020 Author Posted December 22, 2020 Thanks for the information. I'll write a feature request then. Happy Christmas. Dan C 1 Quote
cgidesign Posted December 22, 2020 Author Posted December 22, 2020 Just noticed that I can assign the mouse wheel up /down to the touch sliders of the graphics display instead of CTRL + / -. That helps. It seems those zoom steps are fixed and not "jumping" which gives a more predictable behaviour. Quote
Dan C Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 That's wonderful news, I'm glad to hear this and I appreciate you sharing your resolution for others to see Quote
