BadgerBill Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Hello All I can creating a 400pp novel in Publisher, have inserted the text, however there are gaps in the texton the left-hand page and want to move back text to fill it, but cannot do this. Is there something I'm not doing correctly or a bug? - see screenshot. Any advice would be great. Thanks, Bill Quote
Ray S. Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Hi, take a look at the paragraph-tab, there might be some indent-value inserted. Quote
walt.farrell Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 I would check the Flow Options in the Paragraph Text Style or in the Paragraph Panel, specifically the ones I've marked: Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. Old Bruce Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 First I would uncheck all of them and see if that works and then I would only check the Widow and Orphan boxes if you don't want single lines on the end or beginning of a page. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
