Or Tolerance in Flood Fill/Select/Erase Tool? If you mean Tolerance in the tools, you need to click instead of dragging. It’s by design that dragging up/down or right/left will increase/decrease the tolerance setting. Then looking for the dishwasher and finding it stored in the living room where you have to download a water supply from the app store, then you have to buy microsoft compliant soap, remove the carpet only to be told that it is glued to the floor.. Don't forget to make multiple copies of your front door key and post them to all who demand access to all the doors inside your home including the windows and outside shed. Apple - Like entering your home and opening the oak framed Kitchen door and finding the dishwasher right in front you ready to be switched on, soap supplied, and water that comes through a water softener. Ah the front door key is yours and it only needs to open the front door.

P.S. very useful and practical, because the effect of the Tolerance value on the selection is immediately visible, so that the correct value can be easily set. Sam Watterson Posted December 20, 2020 Author Posted December 20, 2020 ideally can be turned off so the user can stick to standard ways of using tolerance if they desire Quote

You obviously need to be aware of what dragging does in the Affinity apps, but you know that now. Sam Watterson Posted December 20, 2020 Author Posted December 20, 2020 standard in Affinity only perhaps, and why there is no way to turn it off, I am on a Mac not iPad with a full key board for short cuts, how do I stop this annoying random changing of tolerance for tools that normally (in all other apps to my knowledge) have no tolerance, why does the brush tool even have tolerance, it would be nice if it just stayed a normal brush Quote

Sam Watterson Posted December 21, 2020 Author Posted December 21, 2020 Ah yeah I think I was on the colour replacement tool, the default of the constantly cycling tools, under the brush was finally overcome by turning on the shift option, I'd suggest make that the default and make it easier for people starting out, instead of having to keep cycling through tools whenever switching between brush and eraser Quote
