Wrong font displayed in Document and Textstyle

Hi,
I just installed new fonts in Windows 10 - unfortunately while Affinity Publisher (1.8.5 (703) was still open (?)
Font works fine with other Software e.g. Word - seems no mix in the registry.
As you see, the font is previewed fine in the dropdown while it is currupted in the Textstyle Menu (Normal - you easily see the difference on the screenshot) and the document itself.

I tried to reinstall Affinity Publisher, the font (OpenType officially licenced from Monotype) and also tried a fresh document. All the same.

Any idea? I invested a lot of money in the fonts and need to go ahead publishing.

Cheers

Sadly I can not see the issue you are describing - perhaps it would have helped drawing a circle around the correct and the wrong font-display.

As far as I know, the Affinity-Application do not (yet) support variable fonts.

Did you purchase the variable version by mistake?

The Preview in the Text Styles list doesn't update until the Text Styles editing pane is closed with the changes saved.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
