color or linear burn with exrs gives bad results

Hey I converted a raw file to exr. when I use the brush to burn the results seem very broken. it clips in the darks real fast and the brush opacity doesn't seem to make any impact on it.

Now if I take the same raw file and do the burn on it after the develop than it works as expected.

 

I work a lot with exr files since I am in visual effects and just wanted to check if this is a feature or bug

This certainly looks like a bug to me and I've logged it - thanks for the report

Thanks, for CG and VFX work AP could really replace Photoshop with OCIO and exr support.
