smadell
1) Open System Preferences and go to the section marked "General" 2) Click the checkbox to "Automatically hide and show the menu bar." 3) When the menu bar is hidden, grab the Affinity Photo toolbar and drag it down into the main portion of the screen. 4) Now you can uncheck the "Automatically hide and show the menu bar" choice Quote Affinity Photo 2, Affinity Publisher 2, Affinity Designer 2 (latest retail versions) - desktop & iPad Culling - FastRawViewer; Raw Developer - Capture One Pro; Asset Management - Photo Supreme Mac Studio with M2 Max (2023}; 64 GB RAM; macOS 13 (Ventura); Mac Studio Display - iPad Air 4th Gen; iPadOS

smadell
I’m still running Catalina, so can’t speak to Big Sur. Try typing “menu bar” into the Search field (top right) to see if the item is still present but has been moved. jmwellborn
@jfw222.and @smadell Isn’t Big Sur fun? I managed to get myself heaved out of the Forums yesterday by clicking on a helpful popup on my new laptop, which turned out not to have been correctly linked to my keychain settings, in spite of Migration Assistant. Most thankfully, Affinity staff could figure it out, and here I am (possibly unfortunately) up and running again.
