Maybe it doesn't work on a Mac, but double-click on the window title?

Separated mode?

Double click on window title maximize window (in Windows).

Three colored dots isn't on the right side window?

You might have accidentally zoomed in  a little, try pressing CMD ⌘+ 0 or press ESC

1) Open System Preferences and go to the section marked "General"

2) Click the checkbox to "Automatically hide and show the menu bar."

3) When the menu bar is hidden, grab the Affinity Photo toolbar and drag it down into the main portion of the screen.

4) Now you can uncheck the "Automatically hide and show the menu bar" choice

I’m still running Catalina, so can’t speak to Big Sur. Try typing “menu bar” into the Search field (top right) to see if the item is still present but has been moved.

Always fun to solve a puzzle! Now, try to figure out how you managed to get your Toolbar under the menu bar to begin with!

@jfw222.and @smadell  Isn’t Big Sur fun?  I managed to get myself heaved out of the Forums yesterday by clicking on a helpful popup on my new laptop, which turned out not to have been correctly linked to my keychain settings, in spite of Migration Assistant.  Most thankfully, Affinity staff could figure it out, and here I am (possibly unfortunately) up and running again.

Friends don't let friends use Migration Assistant.

For that reason and myriad others.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.0 | Affinity Photo 2.4.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Well, at least I have all my fonts, images, and backup files for Affinity brushes, assets, palettes, macros, styles, LUTs, etc. where I need them!  As for the rest . . .🥴
