kanihoncho
I own the entire Affinity suite but the progress on AD is killing me. I realize it's only a $50 app but I would willingly spend more if they could speed up development. The number of features compared to Illustrator is really dragging me down (filters for vector distortion are badly needed). I may have to go back to Adobe Bloatware for functionality . . . Staff Callum Posted December 17, 2020 Staff Share Posted December 17, 2020 Hi Kanihoncho, The entire Affinity suite is currently only on version 1 with regards to Designer we released 3 betas in the past 30 days the latest being yesterday. I'm sorry that progress is not as quick as you would like, our developers wont add something unless they are 100% satisfied with the results. Ultimately we aren't making carbon copies of other apps so if you find yourself holding out on us adding certain features you can find elsewhere perhaps it is better to try those other applications. Then looking for the dishwasher and finding it stored in the living room where you have to download a water supply from the app store, then you have to buy microsoft compliant soap, remove the carpet only to be told that it is glued to the floor.. Don't forget to make multiple copies of your front door key and post them to all who demand access to all the doors inside your home including the windows and outside shed. Apple - Like entering your home and opening the oak framed Kitchen door and finding the dishwasher right in front you ready to be switched on, soap supplied, and water that comes through a water softener. Ah the front door key is yours and it only needs to open the front door.
