When I place a PDF in 1.8.5 I get a warning if the colour format is wrong or images inside are wrong (inside in this version is of course the wrong term). There are several checks that should check inside. But this is not working anymore with Passthrough. Preflight seems to be broken also for EPS. Please place the attached EPS in 1.8.5.x and in 1.9.0.x in a CMYK document with full preflight options on.
