toottoot Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 Since yesterday, I've noticed that in Designer, a brush that I duplicated/edited in one document has inexplicably changed width units in a new document I'm working on and I want to use the duped brush in the new doc. In other words, the brush went from pixels to inches for stroke width. What the.....???? Really? Have latest version of prog, and it wasn't doing this before. No, I didn't change anything in preferences :). Thanks for any explanation and possible fix. Quote
firstdefence Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 Does the new doc have inches as it’s unit of measurement? Right-click to get the unit list. toottoot Posted December 16, 2020 Author Posted December 16, 2020 Thank you for your reply! Yes, I am (was) making my series of docs in inches (4.5x6) at 300dpi. After seeing your reply, I made a new artboard in pixels instead of inches, drew a few brush strokes that I'm using on every doc I'm making in this series, just for grins, and the stroke showed in pixels in width both in the stroke panel top right and the top left-hand area. Who'd a thunk the picking of the artboard in pixels instead of inches would be the issue and affect how a stroke width shows? Apparently, it is. Well, now I know. Thank you! Quote
