Hello together,

is there any way to project Text on a Zylinder like you can see it on a bottles lable? With the function "text on path" it doesn't work. Illustrator has a feature to adjust whether the letters are direktet centerwise (the upper version in the example-picture) or like on a cylinder (the lower version). If you adjust it like projected on a cylinder, the verticale parts of a letter are positioned vertically and the horzontal parts are adjusted in a bow.

Thank you for your help

Hello v_kyr,

thank you for your replay. That’s nice for wrapping pictures on a cylinder ... but very cumbersome - especially für text wraping. Illustrator offers five different styles for aligning text with a path and keeping the text editable (see attachement). Why is that not possible in Designer? I think this is a basic function that a graphics program should have - at leats the styles "rainbow" and "asymetric" ... and "grafitation" would be nice too. And in Illustrator there are offered different further adjustments in the settings panel.

I hope this comes in one of the future versions and I'm sure then it will be again even better solved than in Illustrator.

Best regards

Rainer

My macro, as cited by @v_kyr works on an Image. If you have text, you will need to rasterise it first.
