walt.farrell
It's not new in the Beta, though, so might be better posted in the general questions part of the forums Hmm. It is different, as Michail notes below. Must have looked at the 1.9 window twice, instead of looking at 1.9 and 1.8 -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.3, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.

Sorry; I looked, and saw it the same on 1.8 and 1.9 beta, but I must have been in the wrong window and looked at 1.9 both times. Staff Chris B Posted December 16, 2020 Staff Share Posted December 16, 2020 Ah I see what you mean. I'm not entirely sure why we use icons for Flood and labels for marquee—I'll ask dev. Because it's only like this in the beta, I have only one explanation: you want to exchange the labels for icons in perspective. Someone started it and then the doorbell rang 😎. I think icons are better and more space efficient, but they could be a little bit bigger. Chris B and Wosven
Staff Chris B Posted December 18, 2020 Staff Share Posted December 18, 2020 I think we should definitely pick one and stick with it. I'll log the inconsistency. I personally prefer labels so I don't have to remember all the different icons but I think icons would be the preferred choice by most! Wosven
Labels are easier to understand, but we can have more icons, and it would help not having elements disappearing on the right of the screen, needing to click on arrows! Icons with labels diplayed fastly would be nice.
