Create vector outline from existing layout

I'm late to this game, but also need to create a vector outline to a customer's vector layout.

The layout includes text and some simple line graphics, I haven't been able to work this out on my own, any help is appreciated!

If you can give us more information, preferably visual, about precisely what you want to do then you should get some good answers.
(The phrase “vector outline” is a bit too vague and can be interpreted a number of ways, each of which could be achieved using different methods.)
