SalfingerAndrew Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 Hello, I’ve been having a issue with Affinity Designer on the iPad, when I have more then 2 line created with the “Pencil” tool and try to “Join” the lines the app will crash. e.g. If I highlight all 3 lines, then go to the “node tool” and click “join” the app will crash. If I select two lines then “join” it will not crash. However if I then select the line (that was use joined together) and select the 3rd line and “join” the app will still crash. I’ve been having this issue a couple of times now when connecting lines. Thank you for your time. I don't get a crash on my Macbook, so looks like its an issue with the iPad build. I have found a similar issue like this that is file specific and is logged with the Dev Team, so i suspect it could be the same crash. I'll need to get this logged for further investigation

I get mine with joining two lines consistently, I have as well tried creating a new document, same thing. I get the crash when attempting to join entire lines or two endpoints- both screen recordings included. FullSizeRender.mov FullSizeRender.mov

LOB Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 Version 1.9 still has this issue. It doesn’t crash every time but I can’t tell when it will... Almost never crashes when joining 2 lines as opposed to multiple.

RandomGuy Posted June 4, 2021 Posted June 4, 2021 Affinity Designer 1.9.9 still crashes after trying to join two long lines with nodes which are created with pencil tool. I am using iPad Air 3. There are other lines on the canvas but just lines (stroke), no fill. Also, I cannot login to my account, tried reseting password but still not possible.

Forrest Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 Version 1.10.1 on iPad still seems to be an issue. It seems to be a more consistent problem if one of the lines is long or complicated. When joining the two lines, immediate crash.
