[Styles] left click broken 1.9.0.874 and some before

I hope this has not already been mentioned, but I tried to search and didn't find it and I have it already since 3 Betas I think so I am wondering if it is only for me?

I have problems to left click on "Styles" to apply them onto a selected "Artistic/Frame Text Object".

Right clicking works directly, left clicking needs multiple clicks to apply.

In the current release version (not beta) it works directly with a single left click.

The same problem with Designer Beta 1.9.0.869.

 

Steps:

1. start Publisher Beta

2. create new A4 Document

3. select Artistic Text Tool

4. add text to the pane

5. switch to move tool

6. select Text object

7. switch to Styles pane

8. try to switch between multiple styles with left mouse click(s)

Interesting problem, @af-user. Good catch.

For me, it does not matter what kind of object is selected, and it will recreate with a simple shape object like a rectangle.

I find that:

1. Right-clicking on a style in the Style panel will select it.
2. But to select it with a left-click, I must double-click quickly. Then it will be selected.
3. Once a style is selected using the approach in step 1 or step 2, a single left-click on that style or any other style will apply the selected one.

This seems to be fixed in the latest beta.
