Mediafuel
Hello. I am using Affinity Photo. I have an image that has 2 objects in it. I want to cut these objects out of the image to remove the background. The Selection Brush Tool and Refine Selection option is not accurate enough to create and refine the selection boundary. I have created a closed curve around each of the objects in the image. Each curve is on a separate layer. Can I convert these curves to a selection so I can cut them out of the image? I have looked in the Help document and also viewed the videos on the Affinity website but cannot find any information regarding this type of task. Thanks in advance for your help. Staff MEB Posted September 7, 2015 Staff Share Posted September 7, 2015 Hi Mediafuel, Select the curve layer, change to the Pen Tool and click the Selection button on the context toolbar (on the left). If you want to keep the original curve duplicate the layer before converting it to a selection.
