Picture frame fill is ignored or does not work anymore with placed PDF

Initially thought it was just a bad behaviour of IDML import.

Place a PDF in a picture frame with a fill and add a drop shadow. In the beta the fill is not respected and the content of the PDF gets the drop shadow whereas in the retail version the fill of the picture frame is respected and the outer object gets the drop shadow and not the PDF content.

Sounds like you just got caught by the new(to 1.9) "Clear Fill on Populate" option.
