Franzi von Fragenfeld
Hi, I have a photo of the interior of a room & need to change out some of the artwork hanging on a wall. Changing the art out for a different picture is the easy part. Here comes the tricky part. Whats the fastest and easiest method to fake some reflections onto the picture (like a glas covering the picture)? The reflections do not need to reflect to 100% the actual interior, but give the impression that there is some sort of reflection giving that glass cover impression. Whats the workflow to use? Fast and efficient workflow is preferred, as I have quite a few images where this needs to be done. I am aware that this is unlikely to be a one touch option Thanks for your suggestions. GarryP
I’ve attached a short video showing a very quick and crude method you could try. To get a better result you will need to take more time to make the selection properly and make the rectangle the correct shape but that won’t be difficult. I’m sure other people will have more-convincing methods. If you can let us see one or more of the original images they will give us ideas about what you are trying to do and then we can give you better advice. 2020-12-10_12-33-57.mp4 Dazmondo77

GarryP
You’re welcome. If you don’t manage to get the result you want then get back in touch, giving us some example images that we can experiment with, and we can probably help further. Dazmondo77
As an addition to the above, I find Blend ranges works pretty convincingly and is super easy to tweak Screen_Grab_2020-12-11_at_09_05_05.mov Quote Mac Pro Cheese-grater (Early 2009) 2.93 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon 48 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 ECC Ram, Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5, Ugee 19" Graphics Tablet Monitor Triple boot via OCLP 1.2.1 - Mac OS Monterey 12.7.1, Sonoma 14.1.1 and Mojave 10.14.6 Affinity Publisher, Designer and Photo 1.10.5 - 2.2.1 www.bingercreative.co.uk
