Jürgen Rechner Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Hello, I tried to import a Corel file in the Publisher. To do this, I converted the file to PDF / X-3 and then opened it in Publisher. Unfortunately the script was not reproduced exactly (see appendix) what could be the reason? Sincerely yours Jürgen Rechner Vademecum.afpub Quote
walt.farrell Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums Thanks for including the .afpub file. I'm not sure what part is the Appendix, and a lot of that file looks messed up to me. However, I don't have two of your fonts, which might be part of the problem. Can you provide a screenshot that highlights the error in Publisher, and a corresponding screenshot in your Corel application? That might make it easier to determine the problem. Also, uploading the Corel file might be helpful to allow a comparison. firstdefence Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 I have the Avantgarde fonts but it still opens with most of the text as garbage. SergioRus Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 I often use LibreOffice Draw to open Corel pictures. Then it is possible from LibreOffice to convert Corel to PDF. Quote
sfriedberg Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 We should also ask if you are trying to open a CorelDRAW file (.cdr) or a Corel PhotoPaint file (.cpt) or a Corel Ventura Publisher (.vp) file. Because fonts are involved, I'm assuming not a .CPT file, but .CDR and .VP are very different formats and both qualify as "Corel files". walt.farrell 1 Quote
