Every EPS from Freepik opens as images inside Affinity Designer.

Look at my layter panel and the objetcs

It loks like it has an image cut by a mask

 

Look how the objects are displayed as squares

And in a zoomed view

I cannot edit colors, etc.

I don't know how to change this

"AD import EPS as vectors".

Yes, Affinity imports vectors from EPS if it contains them. Are you sure your imported files/images are really vector?
